Beachview Farm (Fakkema) Sponsored Amendment
Removed from 2006 Amendment Docket

On Wednesday, October 5, 2006, Richard and Henry Fakkema officially requested that the City remove their sponsored Comprehensive Plan amendment (which proposed bringing the remaining 272 acres of their Beachview Farm property into the City's Urban Growth Area as a Special Planning Area) from the 2006 docket of the potential Comprehensive Plan amendments and, further, to re-docket their application for consideration during 2007. Consequently, there will be no further consideration of this sponsored amendment during the 2006 amendment year.

A copy of the applicants' letter is available on request in the Development Services Department at City Hall. Please refer any questions on this or other issues related to the 200 Comprehensive Plan amendments to Senior Planner Larry Cort at 279-4513, or by email at lcort@oakharbor.org.
